Why Do You Need a Real Estate Website

There has been debate in the real estate industry if you even need to have a website anymore.  The naysayers think that because of the dominance of the big portal sites like Zillow, Trulia, and REALTOR.com as well as the huge franchise sites, it is a losing battle to compete with them, so you are better off not having one at all.  The other side of the argument is how could you not have a site.  First not having a site signals to consumers that you aren’t very dedicated to your real estate business, plus it makes them doubt your ability to promote their property if you aren’t able to show them that you are good at promoting yourself.  Plus there are principles like the Hub & Spoke or Home Base Marketing Strategy that state you should have a home base or hub all your marketing ties into and your website is the smartest thing to make that hub.  In this video, we will explore both sides of the discussion and help you decide if you really do need a website anymore.
