NextDoor – Recommendations

NextDoor is a great social media network as it allows you to target any neighborhood you are wanting to farm (even if you don’t live in it).  And one of the most powerful parts of NextDoor for you as a real estate pro is  Recommendations.  Recommendations is a business directory of vendors just for that neighborhood to choose from. To be in a certain neighborhood’s Real Estate Agent Recommendation category,  you have to get someone else who is already a part of NextDoor to “recommend” or add you in.   And the great part is, only a few businesses per category are allowed for each neighborhood.  So you might want to reach out to some of your local friends’ and ask that they “recommend” you in their neighborhood on NextDoor so that you can lock down a spot before they are gone (if they are still available).  Once you get recommended you have full access to assist the neighborhood in the Message Board, post in the Real Estate or Classified sections, etc.  In this video, we will explore the Recommendations so you understand how it works so you can get the most out of your time in NextDoor.
